Cameron Brunet-Koch, Ph.D., President
North Central Michigan College
Dr. Brunet-Koch is president of North Central Michigan College in Petoskey, Michigan, and has served in this capacity since 2001. Previously, Dr. Brunet-Koch was dean of student services at North Central and, prior to that, dean of student personnel services at West Shore Community College. Dr. Brunet-Koch is a graduate of Oakland University, where she majored in English and social science. She earned her master’s degree in higher education and administration at Michigan State University and her doctorate in guidance and counseling at The University of Michigan.
Dr. Brunet-Koch is active in her local community. She served on the Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for a decade, ending her time as chair in 2015. She is a member of the local Kiwanis Club and has served in various positions, including president. Dr. Brunet-Koch has taught for Ferris State University’s Doctorate in Community College Leadership Program since 2009, using her experience and expertise to help prepare the next generation of college leaders. Dr. Brunet-Koch is the past chair of the Michigan Community College Association’s Board of Directors and Presidents Committee.
