Learning Support Services
Learning Support Services is a study center and free computer lab for students at North Central Michigan College. It houses the campus tutoring services, disability services, test proctoring, and assessment testing. Students can access the offices of the Women's Resource Center and Northwest MIWorks! through LSS.
LSS has a large collection of texts and reference books to assist you with your studies, video tutorials and equipment for viewing them, adding machines, and areas for tutoring and studying. Information about effective study methods and student success is available throughout LSS.
LSS also serves as the open computer lab on campus. The computers are for the use of students and community members. LSS also has scanners and a copy machine. Access to all the software and Internet is free of charge; printing and copying have fees.
Learning Support Services Computer Lab hours:
During Semester: Monday - Thursday 8:30 a.m.- 8:00 p.m.
Friday 8:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Saturday – Closed, Exception: last 2 Saturdays of semester.
Sunday -Closed
Between Semesters
Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Summer Hours
Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Friday - 8:30 a.m. to NOON
