Learning Support Services
Learning Support Services is a free computer lab and study center for students at North Central Michigan College as well as community members. It houses the campus tutoring services, disability services, test proctoring, and assessment testing. Students can access the offices of the Women's Resource Center and Northwest MIWorks! through LSS.
LSS has a large collection of texts and reference books to assist you with your studies as well as video tutorials and equipment for viewing them, and adding machines. Much information about studying and other subjects is available throughout LSS.
LSS also serves as the open computer lab on campus. The computers are for the use of students and community members. LSS also has scanners and a copy machine. Access to all the software and Internet is free of charge; printing and copying have fees.

North Central proctors exams for students of the MCCVLC free of charge. Students from all other institutions are charged a $20 proctor fee.
All tests from other institutions are proctored by appointment only. If you have questions about the computers or software available, contact a lab assistant at 231-348-6682
