The North Central Michigan College campus includes:
The Administration/Classroom Building houses classrooms, faculty offices, academic computer labs, an interactive TV room, administrative offices, business office, regional offices for several four-year universities, the President's office, Marketing and NCMC Foundation and alumni offices.
Chemistry and Science Buildings contain classrooms, labs and faculty offices for biology, chemistry, physics, astronomy and other areas of science. A greenhouse attached to the Science building is used for experiments and classroom activities.
Early Childhood Education Building houses Early Childhood Education classrooms. This was formally known as the Distance Learning Center.
Technology Center houses labs and classrooms for computer and technical training in areas such as AutoCAD, computer technologies, and computer network technologies.
Library and Academic Technologies (LAT) offers a wide variety of high-technology services for students, staff and the community. They include traditional and on-line library services, state-of-the-art videoconferencing, dial-up Internet access, Angel Learning on-line courses facilitated by North Central faculty, multi-media production and "Smart Classroom" technology used by North Central faculty and students. Student Center houses all student services functions, including admissions, financial aid, registration, counseling and student records, located in the lower level of the Student Center. The Student Center also houses the Cafeteria.
North Central's 71,000 square-foot Student and Community Resource Center has a multipurpose gymnasium designed for a variety of recreation and physical education activities. A walking track, 1/9th of a mile in length, is available to the public at no charge. Locker rooms with showers are open to anyone using the facilities. Upstairs, an exercise facility is equipped with weight training and exercise equipment.
The SCRC also houses the College Store, Learning Support Services which has open computer labs, a tutoring center, assessment and testing center and study areas.
The Residence Hall offers on-campus living for up to 148 students. Each room in the residence hall has a cable TV hook-up and a drop box for Internet access. The lobby has a big screen TV, fireplace, and a staffed reception desk. Other amenities include ping pong tables, weight room, kitchenettes and pool tables.
The Corporate & Community Education (CCE) is a division of North Central created to respond to the needs of area businesses. CCE offers non-credit job skills training tailored to meet individual needs. For information, call Tom Nathe at 231-348-6613.
The Natural Area is located along the south edge of campus. The Natural Area has over 200 acres of trails for hiking and cross-country skiing. It is also used for many of the College's lab science courses. The Natural Area has a spring, a stretch of the Bear River, meadows, marshes and forest.
Conference Facilities are available in the
Library Conference Rooms 1 & 2, the SCRC and the
Student Center Rooms 3 & 4.

- COMPASS placement testing for students who do not have ACT test scores

North Central Michigan College in Cheboygan offers general education courses needed to complete an associate’s or bachelor’s degree. Credits earned will transfer to most four-year institutions.
Classes are offered at Straits Area Education Center, 504 Division St in Cheboygan. Students can take the first two years of classes at North Central in Cheboygan.
North Central offers a new Certificate of Development in Business Development in Cheboygan. All courses for the new certificate will be offered in Cheboygan. This program serves as the foundation toward a certificate in Small Business Management or Entrepreneurship or an Associate’s Degree.
The Certificate of Development will prepare the student for entry-level business positions and introduce some of the tools needed to successfully start and manage a business.

North Central Michigan College offers courses leading to certification, associate’s, bachelor’s and advanced degrees in Gaylord. The University Center at Gaylord is located at 80 Livingston Boulevard.
Classes are offered day and evening. Students can connect with North Central’s on-line library, the Internet and Microsoft Office applications in the University Center’s Learning Resource Center. Conference rooms and student lounges are available for all students enrolled at North Central.
North Central offers a complete associate’s degree in geographic information systems in Gaylord. GIS courses prepare students for future study in the earth sciences, civil engineering, biology or geography and for jobs in government, planning, energy and environment.
North Central in Gaylord also offers an associate’s of arts degree.
Students can complete the following bachelor’s degrees in Gaylord by taking the first two years of classes at North Central and completing the degree with participating universities at the University Center:

- BA – Secondary Education – Spring Arbor University
- BS – Criminal Justice – Lake Superior State University

- BS – Forensic Chemistry – Lake Superior State University
Medical Office Assistant certification and pre-nursing courses are also offered at the Gaylord campus.
