NORTH CENTRAL’S LUNCHEON LECTURE LOOKS AT CONCUSSIONS IN SPORTS

 

North Central Michigan College’s Luncheon Lecture will take a look at concussions in sports on Friday, November 17. The program will be held in the Library Conference Center on the Petoskey campus. Lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. and the program begins at noon.

Dr. Dennis McGeath and Lindsey Griffes, Petoskey High School’s certified athletic trainer, will talk about the growing understanding of the brain injuries that athletes of all ages can sustain in a variety of sports and the potential lifetime impacts that can result.

Seating is limited. Reservations are required.  Call 231-348-6600 or email luncheonlectures@ncmich.edu to reserve your place at the table.  Cost is $12 and includes lunch.
