Cancellation of Classes

Cancellation of on-campus classes due to severe weather or other conditions will be announced by the college through area radio and TV stations. Day class cancellation will normally be announced by 6:30 a.m. Evening class cancellation will normally be announced by 5 p.m.

Cancellation of off-campus classes due to severe weather will be regulated by the specific public school system hosting the college courses. For example, if Cheboygan Public Schools are closed, NCMC classes held in Cheboygan are cancelled. You should be aware of the status of the school system where your course is held and listen to media announcements for updates on school cancellations. Campus cancellations are posted below and on campus via NIC(News and Information Center).
