The challenges of caring for a dying breast cancer patient will be the topic of a Luncheon Lecture at North Central Michigan College this Friday, March 7. The program will be held at noon in the library on the college’s Petoskey campus.
Randy Evans, Ph.D., adjunct professor of psychology at North Central, will be the guest speaker. Prof. Evans will talk about his recently published doctoral dissertation on the quality of life of breast cancer survivors from the points of view of both a researcher and a husband/caregiver. His research applies to all those who either experience or support people who are coping with chronic illnesses.
One CEU will be offered to registered nurses and other health care professionals who attend the program.
