When can I take the COMPASS?

The COMPASS is available on a walk-in basis in the Learning Support Services Lab (231-348-6682), and the NCMC Gaylord Office and Cheboygan Office. An appointment is not required.

You should allot approximately 2 hours for the COMPASS but one of the most important features is that it is untimed. You can take as much time as you need to answer the questions.

The three portions of the COMPASS are: English, reading and math. You must take all three portions, if you are a degree-seeking student. Click here to preview some sample questions: COMPASS SAMPLE QUESTIONS.
