What is an 'Incomplete' grade?

An 'Incomplete' is a grade your instructor may issue if circumstances arise that don't allow you to complete the course requirements. If you believe this describes your situation, you should consult your instructor. The 'Incomplete' grade is issued at the discretion of the faculty member. This means they are not required to issue this grade to you.

If you've been issued an 'Incomplete', you are given the following semester to complete the requirements. If you fail to do this, the 'I' will automatically be converted to an 'E'.
