NELNET BUSINESS SOLUTIONS formerly THE FACTS PAYMENT PLAN
To help you meet your educational expenses, NCMC is proud to be working with
Nelnet formerly FACTS Tuition Management Company, by offering a convenient payment plan.
Instead of paying your tuition bill in one lump sum, you can budget your tuition and fees
for up to four months! This is not a loan program, so there is no debt incurred, no credit search,
and no interest or finance charge assessed on the unpaid balance. The sooner you register for classes
and sign up for the Nelnet Payment Plan, the smaller your monthly payments will be!!
HOW THE NELNET formerly FACTS PAYMENT PLAN WORKS
Signing up with Nelnet is easy, affordable, and convenient!!
Students with a minimum balance of $150 can enroll in the plan.
There is a $25.00 per semester non-refundable enrollment fee. The enrollment fee is processed
within a few days of Nelnet receiving your online application, which means it will be deducted from
your account shortly after enrolling in a Nelnet payment plan.
When you enroll, you are simply authorizing Nelnet to automatically process tuition payments from your
financial institution or to make monthly charges to your credit card. All payments will be processed
on the 5th of each month and will continue until the amount due to NCMC is paid in full. If a payment date
falls on a weekend or banking holiday, the payment will be attempted the following business day.
Automatic Monthly Bank Account Payments (ACH)
ACH payments are those payments you have authorized Nelnet to process directly with your
financial institution. Payments may be made from either your checking or savings account.
INFORMATION ON RETURNED PAYMENTS: Should an automatic bank payment or credit card payment
be returned, a $25.00 Nelnet Returned Payment Fee will be automatically assessed to your account. You
will be notified by Nelnet of the returned payment via mail or e-mail.
Automatic Monthly Credit Card Payments
Many students have requested this option in order to take advantage of various bonus programs
offered by their credit card companies and because they don't have to remember to deduct their
payment each month from their checking or savings account. If you elect this option, your monthly payment
along with a small convenience fee will be charged to the credit card you have designated.
Nelnet only accepts Mastercard and Discover. INFORMATION ON RETURNED PAYMENTS:
Should an automatic bank payment or credit card payment be returned, a $25.00 Nelnet Returned
