Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in Library Science or Information Services or demonstrated capacity to complete such a degree by September, 2017. Three (3) years of management experience in a Library/Media Center. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred qualifications: Experience assisting faculty on multiple learning management platforms; Experience managing/teaching in a Technology Enabled Active Learning (TEAL) lab; Experience writing and publishing “LibGuides” in a community college environment; Experience in managing digital image archives.

Required Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Human Biology (or closely related field). Two (2) years of teaching experience in Human Biology or closely related field. Evidence of teaching competence. Ability to teach Human Biology, Microbiology, and Pathophysiology. Knowledge of adult learning theory, to include pedagogical and assessment techniques appropriate to the content area. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of and commitment to the community college mission.
Preferred Qualifications: Recent experience teaching Human Biology in a community college setting. Ability to contribute curricular leadership in areas of Allied Health and Nursing prerequisites. Ability to support instruction on digital platforms such as BlackBoard or Brightspace in both the classroom and online format. Demonstrated interest in seeking out new and emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies to incorporate in the classroom. Evidence of continuing professional development and involvement in professional organizations. Familiarity with institutional effectiveness planning and retention issues within a community college environment.

Provides a variety of activities focusing on secretarial, data management and organizational support for Corporate and Community Education. Duties include: clerical support for both the Director and the Training Coordinator, registration of students, course and section record maintenance, word processing, accounts receivable, customer service, client messaging, digital contact management, proof reading, assistance with correspondence, monthly newsletter, and other needed support activities, assistance with preparation and ordering of training and class materials and supplies. Off Campus Academic Advisor for the Gaylord and Cheboygan offices. Based in the Gaylord Office, Advisor will have office hours in both locations (12 hours/week at each location). Assists student to establish academic and career goals and an action plan to complete their goals. Assists students with enrollment, to include selection of classes, career exploration, financial aid, transfer and degree completion strategies. This is a 24 hour/week position with travel to Cheboygan office and some evenings maybe required.
