College Refund Policy:
If withdrawing from a class or classes during drop and add (can be done online or in student services):
100 percent refund = up until the first day of the beginning of any semester.
90 percent refund = up until the second Friday of the Fall and Winter semesters.
90 percent refund = up until the first Friday of the Summer semester.
Under specific conditions, North Central Michigan College grants refunds for tuition and course fees to
students who withdraw from the college or reduce credit hours. If the student receives assistance from
college funds or other sources managed by the college, the refund is returned to the appropriate scholarship or grant fund. Also, refunds for Guaranteed Student Loan students who withdraw from the college will be sent to the students' lending institution.
If NCMC cancels a course: 100 percent of the tuition and fees will be refunded.
