General Admission Policy
North Central follows an open-door policy of admitting high school graduates or GED holders, non-high school graduates at least 18 years of age and high school students under Michigan Dual Enrollment guidelines.
There is no cost to apply for admission to North Central Michigan College. All students must demonstrate the ability to benefit from the instructional programs offered by the College. The standards used to determine ability to benefit are testing and/or prior college transcripts. Assessment testing standards are based on federal financial aid guidelines for ability to benefit.
