Financial Aid

To help make education financially possible for all qualified applicants, the college has developed an extensive and equitable program of financial assistance including scholarships, grants, tuition waivers, work-study and loans. Approximately 50 percent of North Central students benefit from one or more of these opportunities for financial aid.

Although few families can afford to pay all college expenses out of current salaries or savings, they are expected to provide for a certain amount of the student's expenses as determined by financial aid analysis. The student is also expected to utilize a portion of personal savings and/or earnings from employment to meet educational expenses. When these parent and student obligations have been met, the college, community and/or government will attempt to provide additional funding through the Financial Aid Program if a shortfall (financial need) exists.
