Minimum Qualifications:

Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in Library Science or Information Services or demonstrated capacity to complete such a degree.  Three (3) years of management experience in a Library/Media Center.  Excellent written and oral communications skills.  Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience assisting faculty in curriculum or instructional design capacity (using “ADDIE” or other rubrics) across multiple learning management platforms.  Experience managing/teaching in a Technology Enabled Active Learning (TEAL) lab.  Experience writing and publishing “LibGuides” in a community college environment.

Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling, current Professional Counselor Certification (LPC), and three (3) years’ experience higher education (community college preferred) or three (3) years counseling experience.  Excellent oral and written communication skills.  Understanding of student development issues. Commitment to the community college mission, and specifically North Central’s mission: "We provide educational, economic and cultural opportunities for student learning, personal growth and community improvement.”  Strong customer relations skills and commitment to teamwork.  Computer skills necessary: MS Office suite and experience with a Student Information System preferred.  

General Description:

Assists students to establish academic and career goals and an action plan to complete their goals.   Provides non-acute personal counseling services, making referrals as needed.  Works within the Guided Pathways approach.  Assists students with enrollment, to include selection of classes, financial aid, career exploration, and transfer and degree completion strategies. Knowledge of MAC OSx and SCCM (Systems Center Configuration Manager) desired. Experience with UWF (Unified Write Filter) desired.  Excellent communication, organizational and scheduling skills. General Description:

The full-time Computer Technician functions as the IT help desk. Installs, updates and maintains software for personal and network computers on campus.Provides training and assistance for software applications, primarily Microsoft. Configures and supports instructional teaching computer labs and Audio Video setups. Collaborates with all Information Technology team members to provide exemplary IT service to user groups including students, guests, faculty and staff of the college.
