Building Renovation

Building Tomorrow Together

The Next Generation of Learning

North Central Michigan College is pleased to announce that the renovation of our 50-year-old Main Classroom Building (AD/CL) began in 2020. This 7.4 M renovation project is designed to provide our students with an engaging and exciting learning environment with tools and technology to prepare them for the challenges of a dynamic, creative, entrepreneurial, digital world.

This renovation includes the Student Services First Stop, doubling the IT department footprint, a 6,000 sq.ft. addition into the Harris Gardens, five new high-tech classrooms and renovation of hallways throughout the building. A highlight of the renovation will be the 150-person capacity Student Commons in the center of the facility. The renovation is anticipated to be completed in the spring of 2021 and the building will be back to full operation late that semester.
