Futures for Frontliners
If you are a frontline worker thinking about going back to school either full- or part-time while you work to pursue a career or personal dream, now is the time to get started!
Eligible frontline workers may receive a scholarship to attend North Central Michigan College free of charge starting in January through the Futures for Frontliners program unveiled today by Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
Futures for Frontliners is a program offering free tuition and services for essential workers without college degrees or high school diploma.
“Providing frontline workers who’ve yet to earn a college degree access to tuition-free community college – to pursue their dreams – is a wonderful way to say ‘thank you.’ They certainly earned it.” Dr. David Roland Finley, president of North Central Michigan College.
North Central Michigan College is pleased to serve as a Frontliners Champion to support this exciting initiative.
