NCMC Reopening Grid
NCMC's Reopening Grid is a fluid guideline prepared with six phases that correspond to the six phases in the Governor's MI SafeSchools RoadMap.
We are currently in Phase 4 of this plan *
* Effective November 18, 2020, North Central Michigan College is electing to follow Phase 3 restrictions from our Re-Opening Plan/COVID-19 Response Grid during the state-mandated shift to the use of remote instructional methods (11/18/20 - 12/8/20). This grid states “limited external visitors allowed on campus by appointment and must follow all protocols.” Thus, an initial appointment is required for off-campus students/visitors to come to campus, but on-campus students do not need an appointment. However, appointments are not required to move among the various offices needed to complete a task.
Indicators and conditions that will support moving to the next phase or support moving back to the previous phase are based on:
- Governor’s Executive Orders, Legislation guided, MI SafeStart guidelines, Health Department of NW Michigan Guidance & Recommendations, campus readiness, limited reported COVID cases in communities served.
