Scholarship Application Policies and Procedures
Through generous donations from the community, North Central makes available a variety of scholarships. The Scholarship Committee is dedicated to assessing the qualifications of students seeking scholarship funding. Upon completion of a thorough and unbiased review of applicants' qualifications, the Committee will award the scholarship to those students deemed most deserving. Many scholarships have a need component, therefore, it is highly recommended that students also complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
How to Apply for Scholarships
There is a deadline of May 15th for submitting your request for scholarship consideration for the award year.
- Apply for admission to North Central Michigan College. All candidates for scholarships must have been accepted prior to the offer of the scholarship.
- It is highly recommended that scholarship applicants complete the FAFSA.
- Complete and submit the North Central Scholarship Application by the priority deadline date for first consideration for all North Central Michigan College scholarship programs. Applications dated later than the priority submission date are considered if funds are available after all those meeting the priority date have been considered. A link to the application can be found at the bottom of this page.
- Renewal students must reapply annually by completing steps 2 and 3 above.
