Bachelor’s Degree required with coursework in Education, Human Relations, Psychology, Human Services or College Student Personnel. Master’s Degree preferred. One or more years’ experience in an educational setting (community college preferred) required. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Understanding of student development issues desired. Commitment to the community college mission and specifically North Central mission: "We provide educational, economic and cultural opportunities for student learning, personal growth and community improvement”. Strong customer relations skills and commitment to teamwork. Computer experience necessary.

Assists students to establish academic and career goals and an action plan to complete their goals. Works within a Guided Pathways approach.  Assists students with enrollment, to include selection of classes, career exploration, financial aid, and transfer and degree completion strategies. High school diploma or equivalent, Valid Driver’s License. One (1) year or more of commercial cleaning experience.  Experience with snow removal equipment, and other basic mechanical equipment including lawn care tools.

Performs a comprehensive task list of housekeeping/custodial services throughout the College’s buildings and service areas.  May be assigned to a given building/work area but subject to temporary coverage elsewhere depending upon workload and staffing needs.  May assist in grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, weeding, snow removal, etc.
