Experience in the operation and maintenance of gas fired boilers and support systems to include: all piping and related valves, pumping assemblies, air handling units, electrical controls and components, and electrical motors. Demonstrated interpersonal skills, problem solving, mechanical needs assessment and preventative maintenance. (see job description for complete list of required qualifications).
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for short and long-term maintenance of all plumbing, HVAC, mechanical and other related energy systems. (see job description for list of expected duties).

Required Qualifications: Master of Science in Nursing [MSN]; current licensure in the State of Michigan or eligible for licensure; evidence of teaching competence, to include at least three years teaching and administrative experience at the post-secondary level, preferably in a community college; knowledge of adult learning theory, to include pedagogical assessment techniques appropriate to curricular areas associated with the division; excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills; and knowledge of and commitment to the community college mission.
Provides management and direction for all activities and programs of nursing, human services, and health-related disciplines in accordance with institutional policies and procedures and the guidelines as established and maintained by the Michigan Board of Nursing and other oversight agencies.
