Part-time Prep Cook  (late afternoon/evening hours)

Requires High School diploma or equivalent and some food service experience.

General Description :

The Prep Cook’s primary responsibility is to prepare non-grill foods for Hot Dinner and Special Events as instructed by the Director of Food Service and Conference Center.  The Prep Cook may also be called upon to set up and deliver food to various events on (or off) Campus.  A complete job description is available on the EduStaff site.

The Food Service Set-Up Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of food service staff, particularly in the area of coordinating room set ups for functions.  Responsible for studying event schedules in advance and maintaining communication with Director and Assistant to the Director of Food Service and Conference Center to arrange chair/table/equipment set up and tear down, and communicating those schedules to student employees. Full-time Coordinator of Emergency Medical Services / American Heart Association Training Site

Salary/Wage Range:

$38,500 - $45,000

Required Qualifications:

Holds a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a regionally-accredited program in one of the allied health disciplines; holds a valid Michigan EMS Paramedic Instructor-Coordinator license; has experience necessary to provide proper oversight to clinical training programs in Emergency Medical Services and American Heart Association training courses.

General Description

Provides management and direction to all assigned activities within the Emergency Medical Services and American Heart Association training programs.  Supervises, evaluates, recognizes, disciplines and develops EMS and AHA staff in accordance with North Central Michigan College’s objectives, goals, policies, procedures and practices.  Conducts self in a professional manner promoting statesmanship with subordinate employees, other managers, faculty and other employees, students, local community members, and related representatives and visitors.
