Hours

SUMMER 2020 Hours: May 11 - August 21, 2020*

  • All North Central offices are staffed from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:30 a.m. – noon on Fridays.  

  • All North Central offices will be open to the public beginning August 10.  Entry to all buildings will be accessible.  North Central employees and resources remain available by phone (numbers listed below) and via virtual appointments until then.

  • The College Store will be open to the public beginning on August 10 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:30 a.m. –  noon on Fridays.  Patrons are required to wear face masks and practice social distancing of at least 6 feet.

  • One-on-one and small group campus tours are available by appointment beginning July 6, and on a walk-in basis beginning August 10.

  • Student Services is currrently taking appointments for virtual advising appointments. Walk-in advising will be available beginning August 24 through September 11 from 1 – 5 p.m. each day.  During this same time, morning virtual appointments can be made from 8:00 a.m. – noon.

  • Residence Hall move-in is September 3 – 6 by appointment only.  Please call 231-439-6443 for more information or to schedule your move-in appointment.

  • The Fall 2020 semester begins on September 8.

The Student and Community Resource Center, Iron Horse Cafe, and Library will reopen to the public on September 8. The Library is currently offering curbside pickup for cardholders, students, and employees.

‚Äč*Our Fall 2020 hours will begin on Monday, August 24, when offices will be open from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Student Services and Learning Support Services will be open from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Fridays.

Business Office: The business office is located in the Library.

College Store: Offers textbook rental and used books at the store site in the SCRC and online at https://www.bkstr.com/ncmichstore/home. The store also sells clothing, mugs, water bottles and other supplies.

IT/Helpdesk: Technology questions (e.g. help with Portal login, Brightspace Access, connecting to student wireless network).

Library: Your Library is the hub for all of your research needs.  Both hard copy print resources and online access to more than a million items (books, articles, videos and government documents) are available. We have computers and printing is available.

Learning Support Services: LSS provides access to accommodations for disability for students and visitors, free tutoring for students, Math Lab, free study skills resources and mentoring, proctoring and testing services (within 24 hours’ notice until 5 p.m.). The offices of Veteran Services and the Women’s Resource Center of Northern Michigan are also located in this area. Please call for more information.
