Construction Updates & Project Milestones
August 21, 2025:
The placement of structural steel columns and beams provides the first glimpse of
the new Martin Jahn Technology Center.
August 8—13:
Four trailers arrive on campus to serve as temporary classroom and faculty/staff office
spaces. The trailers occupy space in the Library parking lot, minimizing impact on
both student and community parking while keeping construction staging and equipment
areas separate and safe.
May 2025:
Construction on the Martin Jahn Technology Center and Phase II of the Health Education
and Science Center begins immediately after the Winter 2025 semester concludes.
Effective the week of November 4, 2024, the small lot behind the Technology Center near the baseball fields will be closed to all. An alternative is the lot behind the SCRC. It will be open for the entire construction period.
Parking lot #7, the small lot behind the Technology Building near the baseball fields, will be closed to the public. It is being used as a staging area beginning June 17, 2024, through the duration of the CATEE project.
