North Central Michigan College (NCMC) will open its campus on Saturday, October 18, for a full day of activities welcoming prospective students, alumni, and the community.
The day begins with Senior Preview Day, designed for high school seniors graduating in 2026. From 10 a.m.—1 p.m., students will explore North Central’s academic programs, meet faculty and current students, learn about admissions, scholarships, and financial aid, take a guided campus tour, and enjoy a free lunch. Senior Preview Day attendees also receive free admission to the 3:30 p.m. Timberwolves volleyball game vs. St. Clair County Community College.

“Senior Preview Day is all about helping students imagine themselves as Timberwolves,” said Katie Navock, NCMC’s vice president for enrollment management. “It’s an opportunity to explore programs, connect with faculty, and picture yourself thriving here at North Central.”
From 1—3 p.m., NCMC will host its Harvest Howl on the Athletics Center lawn. Families and community members can enjoy bounce houses, face painting, Timberwolf mask-making, and games with prizes, all free of charge. Attendees can purchase food from NCMC’s Iron Horse Café and other local vendors.
The NCMC Foundation will host an alumni booth where graduates can reconnect, share updates, and complete a short survey. Alumni who participate will receive free volleyball game entry and a popcorn voucher.
“Our alumni are the heartbeat of North Central,” said Chelsea Platte, vice president for advancement and executive director of the NCMC Foundation. “Harvest Howl is a chance to bring your stories, your school pride, and your friends back to campus to make new memories together.”
The first 50 attendees at the volleyball game will receive free entry, and NCMC students always receive free admission with their student ID.
“We’re excited to welcome the community to campus to cheer on our Timberwolves volleyball team,” NCMC Athletic Director Ashley Antonishen said. “Our last match against SC4 was one of the most competitive of the season, and we’re looking forward to another thrilling game and an enthusiastic crowd.”
With Senior Preview Day, Harvest Howl, and Timberwolves volleyball all in one afternoon, October 18 is the perfect opportunity to experience North Central Michigan College.
