Title IX

Title IX of the education amendments of 1972 states “No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any educational program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.”

North Central Michigan Community College is committed to maintaining a campus environment that is free from sexual misconduct, including harassment and retaliation.  Sexual misconduct is unwelcome conduct, based on sex or on gender stereotypes, that is sufficiently serious to limit or deny a student’s ability to participate in or benefit from the College’s educational programs.

If you believe you have been sexually harassed or discriminated against, you should report that behavior as soon as possible, so that the College may conduct a thorough investigation.
