Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Programs at North Central
EMS professionals play a crucial role in saving lives and providing immediate pre-hospital medicine to people in need during emergencies. They work closely with hospitals, fire departments and law enforcement to ensure public safety and well-being.
Pre-hospital medicine is a growing field that offers many opportunities. EMT Basics and Paramedics can seek certification in Wilderness First Aid and Paramedicine, Tactical Paramedicine, Critical Care Paramedicine, Community Paramedicine, Search and Rescue First Aid and Paramedicine and many other license categories.
With an aging population and the need for emergency medical services, demand for trained EMS professionals remains consistently high and is growing. North Central's programs prepare students to perform pre-hospital medicine in high stress environments, providing competent, compassionate emergency care.
