Events
The NCMC Foundation has several community events every year to support scholarships for our students. These events include the spring golf scramble, our new signature event The Garden Party, our annual community cookout and the Founders Society Awards luncheon.
Scramble for Scholarships Golf Benefit
Always held the second Thursday in June. Thanks to our golfers, sponsors and auction donors, we raise money for student scholarships.
Fantastic food, fabulous cars and fine wine are served up at the Garden Party held in August in the Harris Gardens at North Central Michigan College. The event benefits scholarships for North Central’s manufacturing programs.
The public is invited to North Central's annual community cookout the first Sunday after Labor Day. The cookout is a fundraising event for the North Central Michigan College Foundation Scholarship Fund.
Founders Society Awards Luncheon
As part of the 50th anniversary celebration in 2008, the Board of Trustees created the Founders Society Award. In the spirit of our founders, the award honors an individual or organization that has made a significant impact on the growth and development and has demonstrated an extraordinary level of commitment to North Central Michigan College.
