North Central Foundation Scholarships

Scholarship Application Policies and Procedures

Through generous donations from the community, North Central makes available a variety of scholarships. The Scholarship Committee is dedicated to assessing the qualifications of students seeking scholarship funding. Upon completion of a thorough and unbiased review of applicants' qualifications, the Committee will award the scholarship to those students deemed most deserving. Many scholarships have a need component, therefore, it is highly recommended that students also complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Cory and Conner Mills

Cory and Conner, brothers, are 2015-2016 Martha Curtis Memorial Scholarship recipients, attending North Central with plans to graduate in May of 2017.  Conner is also a Presidential Scholar.

Both brothers graduated from Boyne City High School (Cory 2008 and Conner 2014). They are in the nursing program and plan to get their BSN after graduating from North Central.

Cory has been the president of the Student Nurses Association since 2015.  Conner is a member of the Student Senate as well as the Student Nurses Association.

When asked what they like most about North Central, they responded, “The small, intimate classes bring a very warm and welcoming atmosphere which invites and even encourages more open and honest discussion without creating a sense of vulnerability.”
