Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree in College Student Personnel or related discipline preferred.  One – three years’ experience (related assistantship experience accepted). Commitment to community college mission and its students. Skills and experience in public speaking.  Previous computer experience is necessary.

General Description:

The Outreach Recruiter will assist the Director of Student Outreach and Engagement in a variety of activities focused on the college’s student recruitment efforts and engagement of students, both new and returning, in the North Central experience.   Responsible for carrying out the goals of the College’s strategic plan and the department’s outreach plan. Efforts include, but are not limited to, using all available recruitment methods:  face-to-face, campus and community events, and web-based interaction (email, social media, and website).  Evenings may be required as well as travel throughout the state of Michigan.

Associate degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred.  Commitment to the community college mission, with the ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, in an effective, professional and tactful manner.  Ability to handle multiple priorities and proficient in e-mail communication, Windows environment, internet applications and Microsoft Office.  Has the ability to work independently and a strong customer service orientation.

General Description:

The Outreach and Engagement Specialist will provide support for the Director of Student Outreach and Engagement.  Updating databases and preparing reports as required by the institution and state.  Assisting with North Central Now! (Early College, Dual Enrollment, Concurrent Enrollment) coordinating activities/events and maintaining up to date policy and procedures.  This is a 20 hour/week position with some evenings required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate Degree in Computer Information Systems or Microsoft equivalent certifications.  Two (2) years of experience working with Microsoft based servers in a production environment.  One (1) year of experience with Microsoft Exchange administration.  One (1) year of experience with VMware environment.  Experience with Unix/Linux, Microsoft certifications, Network design, knowledge of switching equipment and experience with Veeam backup solutions desirable.  Must have excellent communication, prioritization and organizational skills. 

General Description:

The full time Network Administrator is responsible for maintaining campus-wide and satellite wired and wireless network infrastructure and network servers in a Microsoft and VMware environment.The Network Administrator will collaborate with all Information Technology team members to provide exemplary IT service to user groups including Students, Guests, Faculty and Staff of North Central Michigan College.
