Executive Assistant to the President

Bachelor’s degree and three years’ executive office experience required or Associate degree in office administration or closely related field or equivalent education required and five years of progressively responsible office experience. Strong computer skills required plus the ability and willingness to learn new technologies and applications. Familiarity with database maintenance and management. Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office software products. A self-starter, able to organize work and handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines quickly and accurately. Possess strong interpersonal and written communication skills. Possess a high energy level and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Must demonstrate an interest and commitment in positively representing the President’s Office in all interactions with employees, faculty, students and visitors to the College.

Desired Qualifications: Multi-year office administration experience in a higher education or K-12 setting.

Provides executive-level administrative/secretarial support to the President relative to all activities of the office. Functions in a highly confidential manner with respect to sensitive documents and related matters. The Line Cook is responsible for prepping the grill area (keeping all relevant food product available for short order food production), doing basic short order cooking (burgers, sandwiches, fries), and customer service at the register. Master Degree in Nursing, current Michigan nursing license, three (3) years experience teaching nursing including clinical and classroom instruction, strong knowledge background in Medical-Surgical Nursing, three (3) years full-time clinical experience with direct patient contact, back ground knowledge of classroom and student assessment, ability to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience in Community College or University settings. Maternal Child Health experience. Experience with simulation; utilizing high-fidelity nursing education, curriculum development experience, familiarity with and use of collaborative learning techniques, and on-line teaching experience. Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments in regional clinical sites, awareness of current trends/issues related to the profession, and active in community and professional organizations.
