Part-Time Child Care Assistant

Department: Early Learning Center
Reports To: Lead Teacher/Program Director
Pay Rate: $18-22 per hour

The Child Care Assistant will support the North Central Michigan College Early Learning Center (ELC) mission and vision. This position serves as a critical member of a team of educators tasked with supporting an inclusive and nurturing learning environment where children are empowered to explore, question, collaborate, and construct knowledge enthusiastically and confidently. The primary role is to support and supervise children while working closely with the Lead and Associate Teachers.

Part-Time Health Sciences Resilience Coach

Department: Nursing, EMS
Reports To: Dean of Nursing, Health Sciences & Public Safety
Pay Rate: $43 per hour

The Part-Time Resilience Coach supports nursing, EMS, and healthcare students in cultivating the skills, mindset, and strategies necessary to thrive academically, professionally, and personally. This role integrates one-on-one coaching, small-group facilitation, classroom instruction, and clinical and simulation debriefing to help students manage stress, strengthen coping strategies, and foster resilience in healthcare environments.

Assistant Women's Basketball Coach

Department: Athletics
Reports to: Athletic Director
Pay Rate: $1,000-5,000 season stipend
 

Responsible for assisting with all aspects of a collegiate women’s basketball program, including, but not limited to, recruiting student-athletes, scheduling, competition and practice preparation, individual and program development and community engagement. The coach must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.


Assistant Men's Basketball Coach

Department: Athletics
Reports to: Athletic Director
Pay Rate: $1,000-5,000 season stipend
 

Responsible for assisting with all aspects of a collegiate men’s basketball program, including, but not limited to, recruiting student-athletes, scheduling, competition and practice preparation, individual and program development and community engagement. The coach must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.


Part-Time Prep Cook

Department: Food Service
Reports to: Director of Food Service & Conference Center
Pay Rate: $16 per hour
 

The Prep Cook’s primary responsibility is to prepare non-grill foods for Lunch / Dinner and Special Events as instructed by the Director of Food Service and Conference Center.  The Prep Cook may also be called upon to set up and deliver food to various events on (or off) Campus.



Part-Time Line Cook

Department: Food Service
Reports to: Director of Food Service & Conference Center
Pay Rate: $16 per hour
 
The Line Cook is responsible for prepping the front line area (keeping all relevant food product available for short order food production), cold order cooking (wraps, salads, sandwiches), prepping the grill, grill cooking (burgers, sandwiches, fries), and customer service at the register.

Assistant Esports Coach

Department: Athletics
Reports to: Athletic Director
Pay Rate: $2,000 for Academic Year
 
The Assistant Esports Coach is responsible for assisting with all aspects of a collegiate esports program, including but not limited to: recruiting student-athletes, scheduling, competition and practice preparation, individual and program development, equipment maintenance and outreach activities.

Part-Time Baker/Prep Cook

Department: Food Service
Reports to: Director of Food Service & Conference Center
Pay Rate: $16 per hour

The Food Service Baker will work independently to provide all (from scratch) baked goods as directed by the Director of Food Service and Conference Center. The expectation will be quality baked goods in an economical fashion, in a timely manner.
