Part-Time Opportunities:
 

Gym/Fitness Center Weekend Supervisor

Department: Student & Community Resource Center (SCRC)
Reports to: Director of SCRC
Pay Rate: $17.10 per hour + $0.50 per hour shift premium for weekend work
 
The SCRC Shift Leader acts as quality control and is responsible for on-site supervision of the fitness facilities, its patrons, and SCRC Student workers. They are also responsible for overseeing the appropriate use and cleanliness of all equipment. They will maintain a welcoming, inclusive, safe and enjoyable service-oriented environment for Student Community Resource Center participants at all times.  This position must include the ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
 

Prep Cook

Department: Food Service
Reports to: Director of Food & Conference Services
Pay Rate: $16 per hour
 
The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing non-grill food items under the supervision of the Director of Food & Conference Services. Additionally, the Prep Cook assists with the setup and transport of food for various on- and off-campus events as well as prepping for the main kitchen.
 

 


Line Cook

Department: Food Service
Reports to: Director of Food & Conference Services
Pay Rate: $16 per hour
 
This position is paid and employed through Edustaff, a staffing agency, but your assignment will be North Central Michigan College.
 
The Line Cook is responsible for prepping the front and/or back line area (keeping all relevant food products available for short order food production), cold order cooking (wraps, salads, sandwiches), prepping the grill, grill cooking (burgers, sandwiches, fries), and customer service at the register.
 


Assistant Women's Basketball Coach

Department: Athletics
Reports to: Athletic Director
Pay Rate: $1,000-5,000 season stipend
 

Responsible for assisting with all aspects of a collegiate women’s basketball program, including, but not limited to, recruiting student-athletes, scheduling, competition and practice preparation, individual and program development and community engagement. The coach must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
